What’s my Life’s Purpose?
Your life’s purpose may always be changing; you’re needed in different ways for different situations throughout your life. In fact, right now, you’re probably doing a lot more good for the people around you than you realize.
From even small things, to your comic relief in a certain type of situation that makes everyone else tense. Collect many of these small things about you, skills and things you naturally love. Mix it with your fire and anger for the things you see going wrong in this world, and you’re on your way to having purpose.
It’s also not the fairytale concept people make it out to be. You won’t necessarily have an epiphany moment where you know you’re in the right place. It takes continuous reflecting and being adventurous to discover to the closest degree, what your purpose is.
Forever things to do:
Understand what really moves you. What angers you? What makes your heart race? To where does your mind often drift?
Understand how you really operate. People will label you as very simplistic things. Find and understand which tasks and details you actually enjoy
Try a variety of things (career-type, and fun every day things.)
Evaluate the hell out of what you’re experiencing. For Example: if you like concerts, break down the pieces and see what you actually like
Research - read about people’s lives & jobs; Ask people how their position impacts their company and industry. Ask what the day to day tasks are, and compare it to your list of “little things you love.”
And the biggest way, is to be a founder, or build anything from start to finish. Because what comes out of you, the things you’ll find yourself capable of, is unimaginable. And the creation you build, your idea, it evolves into something you wouldn’t have necessarily expected either, and it will show you where your true passion and purpose for this world is!! If you want to try to be a founder as a teenager, you know where to find us at School of Future’s Entrepreneurs Academy. 100 days, with students from 37 countries. Inquire within 🧐🎶)
Mix all of these elements, and be bold enough to begin getting into real life human things and interactions, and you’ll find you know.
We also tend to think of purpose as having to be: saving orphans or feeding the homeless. Your unique attributes and the crazy love you have for this world is your own, and it comes out in sometimes conventional places.
Your life’s purpose doesn’t have to be helping the homeless. You as individual shine when you’re having fun, and satisfied from having to get into your best self, to accomplish something. the world needs you to find those things. Your individual talents may shine through in a job, even if your job doesn’t have the greatest cause.
Though, there is an insane rise in socially aware companies. Just look at angellist.com, and there are so many startups across the world, aiming to fix some niche they care about.
